One of the largest engineering groups in the UK require an experienced CNC Machine Operators (Milling), to join the team.
Day Shift 07:30am – 4:30pm Mon to Thur and 07:30am – 12:30pm Friday OR 07:00am – 4:00pm Mon to Thur and 07:00am to 12midday Friday – from £9.50p / Hr
Night Shift 8:45pm – 07:00am x 4 Nights Mon – Thur - from £10.66p / hr Including Shift Allowance
Candidates will at the very least have some Engineering or Mechanical Handling experience gained from operating machinery within a Factory or Industrial environment.
OR
The ideal candidates will have at least 2 years’ experience operating CNC Machines (preferably Milling) within an Engineering Industry and be confident at loading and unloading components / castings in to and out of CNC machines (sometimes using mechanical handling equipment / cranes etc)
Candidates will be accustomed to achieving set production targets for quantity of parts produced per shift
Candidates will be familiar with the use of basic engineering measuring equipment and gauges
Candidates will be numerate and able to complete clearly written Production Records
Candidates will be able to read and understand Operator Works Instructions
Candidates will have a good awareness of Health and Safety in the Work Place
Preference will be given to candidates living within a 10 mile radius of the Site and whom have their own Transport or if using public transport are able to get to work for their start time and home after their finish time.
