Overview of Role
The Junior Print Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining all printer devices onsite for a leading Ergo client in Dublin 2. This position is ideal for an initiative-taking and dependable individual looking to develop their career within a supportive and experienced IT services team. The successful candidate will ensure smooth daily printer operations, assist with post room administration tasks, and provide flexible facilities support when needed.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain all printers onsite, ensuring devices are operational each morning before staff arrive.
• Conduct stock checks and order toners or parts as required.
• Perform weekly preventative maintenance (PM) on all devices.
• Prepare and send weekly status reports to the client and IT department.
• Support post room operations including binding, laminating, franking, courier bookings, and mail collection.
• Manage print jobs for onsite staff and answer post room calls.
• Assist the facilities team with flexible work when required.
• Cover Post Room Manager duties during absences (annual leave or sick leave).

Experience:

• Previous experience in printer or IT support (preferred).
• Experience in post room or facilities administration (advantageous).
• Customer service or client-facing experience desirable.

Education & Certifications:

• No formal qualifications required (on-the-job training provided).
• Basic IT or technical knowledge beneficial.

Visa:

• Irish/EU Citizen or Stamp 4 Visa holder.
