We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Stores Person to join a well-established company in Portsmouth.

The company is a supply chain, logistics and manufacturing partner that supports organisations across a range of sectors, including automotive, rail, healthcare and general industrial.

This role is ideal for reliable, hands-on individuals with experience in stock checking, storing and retrieving stock, and who also hold a valid counterbalance forklift licence.

Pay: £13.48 per hour (weekly pay)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:30–15:30

Stores Person – Key responsibilities

·      Storing and retrieving stock and associated counting

·      Re-labelling and updating MRP system accordingly

·      Stock Checking and Perpetual Inventory

·      Housekeeping activities in warehouses and yard areas

·      Supplying daily required parts and raw materials for M&A departments

Production Operative – Requirements

·      Current Counterbalance forklift licences

·      Strong numeracy and literacy skills

·      PC Literate

·      Experience working in a production store environment

·      Highly motivated

·      Effective time management
