Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our team, handling carrier bags and packaging products for distribution.

The role involves picking, packing, re-boxing and re-labelling goods, ensuring all products are accurately prepared and packaged to a high standard. The successful candidate will also operate a counterbalance forklift truck to support daily warehouse operations.

A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is essential for this position.

This is an ongoing temporary role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing carrier bags and packaging products for distribution.
• Re-boxing and re-labelling goods accurately in line with company requirements.
• Operating a counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently to move, load and organise stock.
• Checking products for accuracy, quality and damage before dispatch.
• Ensuring goods are packaged securely and correctly labelled for delivery.
• Loading, unloading and moving stock as required.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Assisting with stock organisation and general warehouse duties as required.
• Working efficiently to meet daily targets and distribution deadlines.

Skills and Requirements

• Must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
• Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift truck.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.
• Ability to undertake manual handling duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be dependable, motivated and safety-conscious, with a hands-on approach to warehouse work.
