Warehouse Operative

Location: Nelson

Pay: £13 per hour

Monday – Friday: 8:30 – 17:00

The Best Connection are looking for a hardworking and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our client’s small, friendly warehouse team in Nelson.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days need to be the same. You'll play an important part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse, helping orders get picked, packed and dispatched efficiently to customers both in the UK and internationally.

What will you be doing?

Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Processing incoming and outgoing goods.
• Carrying out regular stock counts and stock rotation.
• Wrapping and preparing pallets for dispatch.
• Organising domestic and international shipments.
• Completing routine Health & Safety checks.
• Communicating with other departments via telephone, email and Microsoft Teams.
• Supporting the wider warehouse team to ensure everything runs smoothly.

A forklift truck licence would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
