We are currently recruiting Food Production Packers to join our client based in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing weekend work with a well-established food distribution business operating within a temperature-controlled environment.

Opportunity for full time positions for the right candidates are also on offer.

The Role :

As a Food Production Packer, you will be responsible for packing food products efficiently and accurately to meet production targets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Packing food products into boxes ready for dispatch
• Checking products for quality and presentation
• Labelling and preparing finished goods
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures at all times
• Working as part of a team to achieve production targets

Working Hours :

• Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• 6:00am - 4:00pm
• 30 hours per week

Pay Rate :

• £12.71 per hour

Candidate Requirements :

• Previous packing or production experience is beneficial but not essential
• Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Able to stand for longer periods and undertake repetitive tasks
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
