Employbridge is currently searching for a Customer Sales Representative in the Carson CA area. The Customer Sales Representative will be responsible for servicing import and export clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and develop current accounts through client relationships
- Monitor the shipment statues and interface with clients and vendors to ensure a smooth transition and delivery of goods
- Develop new business opportunities for air and ocean cargo services working directly with the sales manager
- Prepare and provide rate quotation and establish credit terms for new customers aligning within company’s policies
- Assist with all aspects of import and export operations, including booking, dispatch, documentation, compliance check, customs clearance and brokerage
- Coordinate with the warehouse for efficient handling and notification procedures for a smooth transition and delivery of goods
- Monitor the status of all shipments serving as a primary interface between customers and vendors
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma and some college classes
- Two plus years of import and export experience
- Strong analytical, mathematics and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in MS Office Products
- In accordance with California law, the expected salary for this California position is $25.00-$30.70 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and education
