Our client is looking for a Test Manager who will be accountable for the effective management, development and implementation of system integrations, test strategies and frameworks designed to manage, control and coordinate the execution of both manual and automated testing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage development schedule, dependencies, risk and issues
• Manage and coordinate the vendors developing integrations
• Develop a comprehensive test plan, including scope, objectives, resources, and timelines and testing tools.
• Define testing strategies (e.g., manual, automated, performance, security) based on project requirements.
• Provide input to use and selection of testing tools.
• Coordinate test execution, ensuring coverage of all requirements and use cases.
• Monitor test progress, identify bottlenecks, and address issues promptly.
• Review test results, analyse defects, and prioritize fixes.
• Track defects using tools and processes.
• Vendor management, including coordination of multiple third-party test teams and deliverables
• Work closely with vendors and developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Maintain defect metrics and report on defect trends.
• Prepare test status reports for project stakeholders.
• Document test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Create test summary reports after each testing phase.
• Identify project risks related to testing and propose mitigation strategies.
• Assess the impact of issues, defects on project timelines and quality.

Key Skills Required:

• Proven experience managing multiple vendors and development teams across multiple time zones
• Experience on SAP projects – highly advantageous
• Proven experience leading a test team in both manual and automated testing.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end testing on complex, large-scale IT projects
• Deep understanding of test strategy development, methodologies, test planning and execution, and risk-based testing approaches.
• Proven track record as a Test Manager leading system, integration, UAT, and regression testing phases
• Advantageous to have familiarly/experience with the food manufacturing industry
• Proven experience in developing and rolling out test strategies, test execution plans and associated documentation.
• Proven experience in defect management and resolving issues.
• Proven experience in delegating, monitoring, and reporting on test progress.
• Proven experience in developing and executing test scripts for integrations across multiple systems
• Proven experience in use of scheduling and testing tools
