My client a large international manufacturing company has a vacancy for a Manufacturing Operator working an early and back shift at their Perth location

Manufacturing Operator

Shift Pattern - Rotations

·        Early Shift - Mon&Tue 6am-4pm, Wed 6am-2:30pm, Thur 6am to 1:30pm and Friday 6am to 12:30pm

·        Back Shift - Mon&Tue - 2pm-10pm, Wed 12:30pm-9pm, Thur 12:30pm-8pm, Fri 12:30pm-7pm

Duration

·       6 months with possibility for extension Temporary Assignment

·       Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate

·        £15.84 per hour

Experience Required

·       Manufacturing experience would be highly beneficial

What will a Manufacturing Operator do

·       Inspects material, products and containers at each set up of production process.

·       Inserts or pours product into containers or fills from spout or chute.

·       Obtains and sort product.

·       Wraps protective material around product.

·       Weighs containers and adjusts quantity.

·       Closes and seals containers.

·       Labels containers, container tags, or products.

·       Packs special arrangements or selections of product.

·       Line Clearance - responsible to reconciliation and disposal of materials related to the job.

·       Clean and sanitise work areas, machines, glassware or equipment as needed.

Manufacturing Operator Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel beneficial.

·       Ability to understand and adapt to new schedules in environment due to priority changes

·       Ability to collaborate and work with other team members in a team-based environment

·       Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

·       Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and react appropriately to changing priorities and impending deadlines
