We are currently recruiting for a Band 3 General Secretary to provide essential secretarial and administrative support within a busy healthcare environment. About the Role
As a General Secretary, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department. You will provide comprehensive administrative support, liaising with healthcare professionals, colleagues, patients, and members of the public while managing a variety of secretarial duties.
Key Responsibilities
Word processing and audio typing correspondence, reports and documentation                                                Managing diaries, appointments and meeting schedules
Minute taking and preparing meeting documentation
Handling telephone calls, emails and general enquiries
Sorting, processing and maintaining confidential records and information
Preparing reports and statistical information
Filing, scanning, photocopying and general office administration                                                                    Responding to queries and resolving routine issues using your own initiative
What We're Looking For

• Previous secretarial or administrative experience
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
• Professional, confidential and customer-focused approach
• Experience of minute taking and audio typing is desirable
