Joining a reputed client within the Government, this is a key frontline role providing administrative and customer service support across court and tribunal operations. You will be the first point of contact for court users, judicial office holders, and partner agencies, handling enquiries, supporting hearings, managing case-related administration, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day delivery of justice services. 
What you’ll be doing:

  • Preparing for, facilitating and supporting court and tribunal hearings.
  • Providing excellent customer service to court users, legal professionals and partner agencies via face-to-face, telephone and written communication.
  • Responding to enquiries and directing users to the appropriate HMCTS services and support.
  • Processing case files, maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
  • Managing correspondence, documentation and other general administrative duties.
  • Supporting listing and scheduling activities to ensure efficient use of court resources.
  • Assisting with jury administration, attendance monitoring and associated processes where required.
  • Supporting judicial office holders with diary management and administrative tasks.
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information in line with data protection policies.
  • Following complaints procedures and helping resolve issues promptly to maintain service standards.
  • Assisting with enforcement and fines administration activities where required.
  • Supporting vulnerable users by implementing reasonable adjustments and special measures.
  • Booking interpreters, intermediaries and other professionals for hearings.
  • Reporting building, facilities and IT issues and assisting with health and safety procedures.
  • Working flexibly across different operational areas to meet changing business needs.
  • Meeting performance targets while ensuring accuracy, professionalism and compliance with HMCTS procedures.
