Working Pattern: Monday to Friday - Full Time in Office

Our Client is hiring Administrative Officers to help progress cases through the court/tribunal system and ensure high standards of customer service across teams within Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS).
What you’ll be doing:
• Prepare papers, files and court/tribunal documents for hearings, meetings and proceedings
• Create, update and input records on in-house systems; complete post opening and dispatch
• Support court operations by checking files, ensuring materials are up to date, and assisting with listing and rota management
• Handle enquiries at the counter (face to face), and by telephone and in writing-delivering a “right first time” service
• Liaise with relevant parties to schedule, serve documents and execute appropriate processes, including handling payment by chip and pin where needed
• Verify and check documents, records, accounts, claims and returns to ensure compliance and quality standards
• Contribute to team information board (TIB) meetings and support continuous improvement, including assessing the impact of new systems/processes
• Produce basic statistical analysis reports and support straightforward financial processing, including reconciling accounts and preparing invoices
• Assemble and interpret information to prepare for daily TIB meetings and operational needs

• While you’ll be based at a specific office, flexibility may be required to help at other local sites on an ad hoc basis
• Some roles may include regular contact with members of the Judiciary and the legal profession
