ABOUT THE ROLE
The Student Recruitment Advisor (SRA) is responsible for driving sales and achieving student enrolment targets. They will report directly to the Regional Team Leaders, providing critical pipeline reporting, student and stakeholder engagement and management of various referrals and enquiries.
To be successful, the SRA will have demonstrated sales experience to handle objections and overturn them via superior negotiation skills and closing techniques. The ability to communicate confidently, build rapport and be mindful of culturally sensitive situations and environments.
The role requires an energetic and ambitious team player, resilient and detail orientated with a pragmatic approach to sales targets and a high level of accountability to identify opportunities and take the initiative. The SRA will combine a demonstrated knowledge and experience of marketing and sales within the international education environment utilising multiple sales channels.

The candidate will ideally have the following:

• Relevant higher education and/or proven marketing and sales experience
• Salesforce experience desirable
• An understanding of the international education industry and visa process
• Strong presentation skills
• Innovative thinking and proactive work habits, including an eye for detail and new sales opportunities
• Demonstrated and proven ability to initiate and implement account and channel management strategies and tactics which have made a significant contribution to sustainable business growth
• Successfully delivered work in deadline-driven and agile environments
• Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and communication skills
• Flexible and accountable approach to work (e.g. in hours and content)
• Demonstrated and proven ability to work autonomously and collaborate as a team player
• Intimate understanding of student recruitment requirements, processes and procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills – English a must
• Has successfully worked in a KPI driven environment achieving sales targets
• Ability to build rapport with students and parents with a personable approach
• Previous sales experience, preferably in inside sales
• Excellent attention to detail due to specific course/visa requirements
• Demonstrated teamwork capabilities and confidence in working autonomously
• Competent MS skills with the ability to grasp new systems easily and quickly
