Prison Escort (ARJLYHL) Wotton-Under-Edge, England
Location: HMP Leyhill - Gloucester GL12 8BT
Rate: £9.71per hour - overtime available after 37.5 hours.
Duration: Temporary with the potential to be long term
Working alongside the facilities team to escort contractors (carpenters/plumbers/electricians etc.), one of the most important aspects of the role is ensuring that those entering the prison environment are escorted at all times.
Other duties include (but are not limited to):
- Checking contractors entering the site
- Contractor tool checks and keeping a record of tools brought onto site
- Supervising contractors whilst onsite
- Vehicle checks
- Radio handling
- Following Health & Safety procedures
