The Role
A small, family run engineering business is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team.
They service a range of industries including aerospace, medical and automotive.
Key Requirements/Responsibilities
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Able to read and interpret drawings and blue-prints.
- Familiar with all manner of measuring equipment (Mitutoyo Quick Vision, Vernier, pin/block/thread gauges etc)
- Writing programs, importing data into excel and analysing results.
- Manual checking on the shop floor.
- Recording and documenting quality data
- First/last off checks
- AQL check on whole batches
- Good working knowledge of VMM and CMM.
- Clear understanding of geometric tolerances.
Conditions & Benefits
The hours of work are 7.30am – 4.30pm Mon -Thurs and 7.30am – 3pm Fri.
Break for 15 mins in the morning and half an hour lunch break. Complimentary tea and coffee.
