Setting Out Engineer
Avonmouth (Near Bristol)

Construction and Civil Engineering Company has opportunities for bright and dynamic Setting Out Engineers.
You could either be looking to continue or start your career within the construction industry.
Junior engineers will be mentored and taught on site by senior engineers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Accurate setting out, working to tight tolerances
- Carrying out ‘as built’.
- Time spent onsite will be around 90% of shift
- Setting out using GPS equipment as well as being able to undertake traditional setting out
- Able to transfer from drawings to setting out in the field accurately and clearly.
- Able to use key software packages.
Skills and Experience:
- The most important attribute will be your attitude and your enthusiasm for working onsite.
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
- Previous Site experience not essential
- Degree or professional qualification in Civil Engineering or related
