Support Administrator
Location: Newport, South Wales (NP10 8QQ)

What you'll be doing:
• Processing examination support forms in line with agreed quality criteria, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
• Communicating findings to customers in writing with clear, professional detail
• Recording data accurately onto databases, including uploading documents and typing information to maintain a robust historical record
• Identifying gaps or errors and escalating/reporting them appropriately
• Producing documentation accurately in line with guidance and standards
• Answering telephone enquiries promptly (within 5 rings)
• Responding to general enquiries by letter/email within 5 days, and detailed correspondence within 3 weeks
• Supporting other teams with administrative tasks when required
• Taking part in a workplace transformation programme and embracing new ways of working

Additional information:
• Pay rate: £14.42ph
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00, 37 hours per week
• Hybrid working: approx. 20% in the office (around 1 day per week / 4-5 days per month) You will be required to participate in rotas and occasionally may need to attend the office at short notice if business need requires.
• Start: 05/10/26 until 26/03/2027 (likely to extend)
• Training: office-based (the first 2 weeks will be office based). Some later weeks may require additional office attendance with advance notice
• DBS: Basic DBS required (Brook Street will apply on successful application). Full training provided
• Please note: no holidays during the first few weeks
• If you’ve spent 6 months or longer outside the UK in the last 3 years, an additional overseas police check may be required (candidate responsibility)
