Interior Designer

Location:Chelmsford

Salary: £28000- £33000 (dependent on experience)

I am looking for a passionate and motivated Interior Designer with a keen eye for detail to join a friendly team in Chelmsford. The practice works on projects across the hospitality, residential and healthcare sectors and always ensures a creative, client-led vision is executed. The well-established practice has an excellent reputation and aim to build lasting relationships with all clients.

The successful Interior Designer will have sufficient experience post qualification in a UK-based practice and should be confident in their knowledge of building regulations. You will have a proven track record of hospitality projects and should have a vibrant portfolio that presents your work. AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Sketchup experience is essential.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Interior Designer:

• Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
• Sufficient post qualification experience in a UK-based practice
• Previous experience working on FF&E designs
• Confident sourcing samples and producing presentations and mood boards for clients
• Drawing furniture layouts and elevations
• Prepare specifications of ironmongery, electrics, finishes and joinery
• Proven experience working on hospitality projects
• Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers
• Conducting site visits
• Confident working independently and as part of a team
• Proficient using AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Sketchup
• Must live locally to Chelmsford
