British Sign Language (BSL) Support Workers – Level 2 & Level 3

Supporting Learners Aged 16–19




Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting for passionate and experienced British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Support Workers to work with students aged 16–19 at leading Further Education colleges.




This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting deaf and hearing-impaired learners to achieve their full potential in an inclusive learning environment.




The Role

• Provide 1:1 and classroom support for deaf learners aged 16–19.
• Communicate confidently using British Sign Language (BSL).
• Support students to access lessons, college activities and assessments.
• Work closely with lecturers and learning support teams.
• Encourage independence, confidence and academic success.

Essential Requirements

• Recognised British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (essential).
• Previous experience supporting young people or adults in education, SEND or a similar setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, reliable and professional approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
