SEND Lecturer – North West London

Pay: £40 per hour umbrella assignment rate
Working days: Monday to Friday

Morgan Hunt is recruiting a SEND Lecturer to join a further education college in North West London, supporting students with learning disabilities to develop their confidence, independence and essential skills.

This is an opportunity for a passionate lecturer who enjoys adapting their teaching to individual needs and helping learners work towards meaningful outcomes.

The role

• Teach independent living skills, employability, and Entry Level English and maths.

• Act as a personal tutor, supporting learners’ development and progress.

• Plan and deliver structured, engaging lessons tailored to different learning needs.

• Monitor progress and adapt teaching approaches to help students achieve their goals.

• Work closely with colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience teaching students with SEND, ideally within further education.

• A recognised teaching qualification.

• The ability to differentiate lessons for learners with a range of needs.

• A patient, adaptable approach and strong communication skills.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

• An Enhanced DBS and willingness to complete the required compliance checks.

Pay information

The £40 per hour umbrella assignment rate includes employment costs and is not your take-home pay. PAYE is also available at £30.65 per hour, plus £3.70 holiday pay, totalling £34.35 per hour before deductions.
