Location: Isca Building, Manley House, Exeter, EX2 7LQ
Salary: £13.47 per hour
Contract Type: Part time Temporary assignment for 3 months with a possibility for extension.
Hours: Flexible days – Must work Fridays. Other day/s can be decided by worker and client. 18.5 hours per week. 2 longer days or 3 shorter days
Clearance: Basic DBS
Training: Buddy or shadowing system

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Admin Officer to join a friendly and supportive team within a fast-paced operational environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administration, customer service, and working with financial information while supporting important operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery
- Deliver core business unit functions within agreed timescales and performance standards.
- Accurately input and maintain data across multiple systems.
- Ensure compliance with Data Protection regulations and internal procedures.
- Adapt to changing priorities and support wider team activities when required.
- Work collaboratively to achieve team objectives and resolve operational challenges.
Administration
- Manage designated administrative processes and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor shared inboxes and provide administrative support across the team.
- Handle telephone and email enquiries, resolving issues wherever possible.
- Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues and external customers.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Customer Service
- Build positive relationships with stakeholders, delivery partners, and customers.
- Respond to enquiries professionally, providing clear and accurate information.
- Manage customer expectations and deliver a high standard of service.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
- Share best practices and contribute to service improvements.
- Support the implementation of new ways of working across the team.

- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working with financial processes, invoicing, or payments.
- Experience handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Knowledge of SharePoint or similar systems.
