Class 1 Driver - Temporary to Permanent

Location: Durham

Pay Rate: £16.36 per hour (PAYE)

Overtime Rate: after 40 hours £24.54 per hour

Job Type: Ongoing / Temp to Perm

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 starts

The Best Connection are proud to be working in partnership with a large, well-established parcel distribution company based in Durham. We are currently recruiting an Class 1 Driver who can commit to ongoing, full-time work.

Anyone with over 6months of experience can apply!

This is an excellent opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Multidrop deliveries
• Collections
• Business-to-business deliveries
• Class 1 Driver
• Use of your own mobile device for job-related tasks (e.g. apps, communication, delivery information)
• Monday to Friday work with consistent start times

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• 6 months previous Class 1 driving experience
• Access to and ability to use your own smartphone
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
