The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Store Assistant Manager / Supervisor.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous retail, food service or supervisory experience who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Pay Rate: £12.91 per hour
Hours: 32 hours per week, over 5 shifts
Working Days: Monday to Saturday, including Saturdays
Additional Hours: Hours will increase to 42 per week when covering the Store Manager’s holidays

The Role

As a Store Assistant Manager / Supervisor, your duties will include:

• Serving customers and providing excellent customer service
• Preparing food and making sandwiches
• Baking savouries and other food products
• Keeping the shop clean, tidy and well presented
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the store
• Supervising the team when required
• Covering the Store Manager on their days off and during holidays
• Ensuring company standards and procedures are followed

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a retail, food service or supervisory environment.

You will need to be:

• Reliable and organised
• Customer-focused with a friendly approach
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Confident taking responsibility and supervising others
• Flexible to work Saturdays and provide additional cover when required
