The Best Connection Sheffield is recruiting a reliable and professional 7.5 Tonne (C1) Driver on behalf of our client, a specialist provider of machine knife sharpening services.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, full-time work with the potential to become a permanent member of the team after 12 successful weeks.

Full Training Provided

You'll begin by driving a company van for approximately 3–5 weeks while completing your paid training. This allows you to learn the routes, become familiar with customers, and gain a full understanding of the role before progressing to your dedicated 7.5 Tonne vehicle.

The Role

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, your duties will include:

• Nationwide collections and deliveries
• Visiting pre-arranged industrial customer sites
• Typical start time of 6:30am
• Loading and unloading goods
• Manual handling 
• Completing vehicle checks
• Delivering excellent customer service while maintaining safe driving standards

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Valid C1 (7.5 Tonne) Licence
• Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Comfortable with manual handling
