The Best Connection Sheffield is currently recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a variety of temporary, ongoing and ad hoc assignments with established clients across Sheffield, Rotherham and Chesterfield.
This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for flexible work, regular shifts, additional hours or full-time employment. With a variety of clients and assignments available, we can offer work to suit different levels of availability and experience.
 
The Role
Depending on the assignment, your duties may include:
  • Driving Class 2 vehicles on local and regional routes
  • Multi-drop and palletised deliveries
  • Delivering goods safely and efficiently to customers
  • Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
  • Providing a professional and courteous service to customers
  • Following all relevant driving, health and safety regulations
  • Manual handling, where required by the client
Start times and shift patterns will vary depending on the individual assignment.
 
Requirements:
  • A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
  • A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous Class 2 driving experience is preferred but not essential
  • A professional and reliable approach to work
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • No more than 6 penalty points, subject to client approval
