Our Client based in Eastleigh is currently looking for an HGV Cat C driver to work Monday to Friday driving a Cat C 18 ton lorry. This is a temp to Perm position with an annual salary of £39,400 plus overtime. The Hourly rate is £16.76 per hour. You will receive at least 2 weeks training so New pass drivers are welcome. Please read below for further details.

• Your working week is Monday to Friday 
• Start time is approx 6.00 to 7.00am with an average working day of 8-10 hours
• You will be driving a curtain side 18 or 26 ton Lorry
• NEW pass drivers are welcome
• You will be delivering Goods to commercial customer in and around Hampshire and surrounding home counties
• You will receive full training on all aspects of the job before going out on your first day
• The hourly rate is £16.76 with an 8 hour minimum day and you will have opportunities of working overtime
• The annual salary will be between approx £39,400 plus overtime and bonus payments.

What will you need to bring to the table

• Drivers will need to have excellent communication skills
• This is a very customer facing role so you will need to have a pleasant and professional manner
• New pass drivers are welcome but you will need to be able to demonstrate a good understanding of some form of commercial driving knowledge even if not as an HGV driver
• You will be working with a drivers mate every day so being a team player is important
• The company will invest a great deal of time in training so a high degree of numeracy and Literacy is necessary
• This is a Temp to Perm position so all applicants must be looking for a full time permanent position.
