Here at The Best Connection we are looking for experienced C+E Container Driver to join our client based in Southampton. This is an ongoing role, with potential to go full time with a contract.
Salary - £17.00 ph
Location - Southampton
Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday
Start Time - AM or PM
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Delivering containers to different locations
- Entering and exiting the docks
- Day or Night trunking up to the midlands
- No hand-balling involved
- Vehicle checks, making sure the containers are secured
- Reporting any issues to shift manager
- Start time differ depending on route/run
WHAT IS REQUIRED/BENEFITS:
- Valid UK Class 1 licence
- CPC & DIGI required
- Valid DP World Card
- Must complete driving assessment & induction
- Container experience is essential
- Must have been in and out of the docks
- Good communication skills
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- On-site parking
- Ongoing work, with overtime on weekends
