We are recruiting for a strategic position that calls for individuals with substantial expertise in Biological Tech Transfer. You will play a crucial role in influencing and supervising the implementation of best practices for Tech Transfer across sites. This role is ideal for candidates with significant experience in personally leading Tech Transfer projects, scaling up operations, and managing strategic projects with extensive customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take on the responsibility of technically supervising international tech transfers to large-scale facilities, spanning all phases of process transfer. Ensure strict adherence to best practices and foster cross-site and cross-boundary collaboration with fellow network members to achieve successful outcomes in terms of cost, timelines, and customer objectives.
• Function as the primary representative of the Global MSAT technical division, overseeing and facilitating transfers between sites. Collaborate with sites sending and receiving technology, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Act as the spokesperson for the MSAT function in cross-functional and cross-site partnerships with Research & Development (R&D) and Product Development (PD). Drive the implementation of innovative process technologies within specified timelines.
• Exercise sound judgment in making vital technical decisions and guarantee a seamless transition of pre-commercial projects into manufacturing. Actively identify and resolve technical challenges.
• Contribute to the development and execution of well-structured technical and business enhancements to consistently improve project tech transfer execution and customer project results.
• Represent our Business Unit's scientific proficiency at customer project meetings, particularly in areas like Technical Transfers and process scale-up.


Key Requirements:

• Possess a Master's or Ph.D. degree, with a preference for academic background in Biological Science, Biochemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Essential substantial experience in bioprocessing, including a demonstrated track record of personally leading technology transfers in both Single Use and Stainless Steel-based operations, encompassing scales from 1K to 20K. This experience should encompass domains like Mammalian cell culture, Process Development, Upstream and Downstream MSAT, and GMP operations.
• Success record in collaborative work across GMP sites, functions, and organizational boundaries.
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities, alongside the capacity to encourage effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and a demonstrated capacity for leadership.
• Resilience and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in the English language.

Key Benefits:

• Median salary of 100.000 CHF (based on years of experience, academic background and certifications). This greatly varies depending on the candidate
