Our client wishes to recruit an Assistant Director of Nursing for their well-established, highly regarded nursing home in Galway. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the management team, in this, purpose-built nursing home.

As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for managing the nursing staff, ensuring quality care for residents, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and assisting in the overall operation of the nursing home.

Required:

Must be registered in the General Division of Nurses with the NMBI
Have a minimum of 3 years post registration, 2 of which must directly relate to a Nursing Home with experience in a senior management position.
A management qualification is required for this post.
Must have Care of Older Person experience
Responsible for the smooth running of the Home
Demonstrate a proactive approach
Provide a supportive & hands-on approach
Must have excellent interpersonal & organisational skills
Can do attitude
Empathy with residents & family
Strong computer skills
Flexible & team player

Salary is negotiable, depending on experience
