A Top 100 firm are looking to add a Management Accountant to their growing team. You will be joining a team that has an excellent reputation in the market. The firm has a strong presence in the technology and media space however you will get exposure to a mixed client base ranging from start-ups to listed companies. There will also be some managerial elements to the role as you will be reviewing the work of more junior staff and on some assignments you'll report directly to Partners.
Responsibilities:
- Review of monthly and quarterly management accounts ensuring files are accurate before submission to the client
- Preparation of the more complex management accounts
- Review of VAT returns
- Supervision of junior members of staff
- Maintaining excellent relationships with clients and acting as the first point of contact
Requirements:
- Must be fully qualified
- Experience in reviewing and preparing monthly management accounts
- Strong understanding of complex VAT reporting requirements
- Excellent time-management skills and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Ambitious with a willingness to learn
