A well-respected, large Independent Firm are looking to add an Audit Semi Senior to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Audit Semi Senior who wants to complete their qualification in an excellent firm and have access to a market leading training programme. The successful applicant will assist Seniors on larger jobs but they will also take responsibility for leading smaller assignments from planning through to completion. You will have exposure to a mixed client base which will include specialist areas such as FCA regulated entities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Seniors and Managers on audit assignments
- Lead smaller audits from planning through to completion
- Prepare full sets of accounts as and when required
- Help mentor and train the more junior members of staff
Requirements:
- Currently working towards a professional qualification (ACA /ACCA or equivalent) with a strong exam record
- Strong experience of audit where your current responsibilities make up at least 40% of your duties
- Good understanding of the audit cycle and have ideally progressed to leading smaller assignments
- Excellent communication skills
