A growing firm in North London with an enviable client base have an opening for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The firm have grown organically and even during these challenging times, are still winning new work. The clients range from small start-ups, right through to FCA regulated entities and high profile clients with turnovers of up to £100million. The role will report directly to the Partners and the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all clients. There may also be the opportunity to get exposure to some audit work.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare full sets of financial accounts and management accounts
- Delegate and review the more basic work prepared by Juniors and Semi-Seniors
- Act as the first point of contact for all client queries
- Manage relationships with clients to ensure they receive a first class service
Requirements:
- Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong experience of preparing accounts
- Previous experience of working within a Practice environment
- Excellent communication skills and able to build strong relationships with both clients and other members of staff
- Any experience of audit would be advantageous, but not a necessity
