Are you someone who takes pride in doing things properly, values trust and discretion, and enjoys creating calm and order in busy environments? My client is seeking a Household Management Assistant to support the smooth running of a beautifully maintained private residence in Old Knebworth.
This is more than just a job, it’s an opportunity to be part of a team that values professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care. You’ll be working closely with a well-established domestic team, supporting both home and office operations, and helping ensure everything runs like clockwork.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in coordinating household and garden staff, managing schedules, and ensuring the home is always presented to the highest standard. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Household Manager with day-to-day team coordination
- Keeping diaries and memos up to date with precision and clarity
- Conducting regular walk-throughs to ensure cleaning and presentation meet expectations
- Managing inventories, uniforms, and timesheets with accuracy
- Booking appointments and handling logistics with care, including for two friendly Labradors
- Attending meetings and contributing to weekly reports for senior leadership
- Providing cover and support across the team when needed

- A confident driver with a valid UK license and access to a car
