Social Media Platform Manager
W2 Contract
Location: Remote Role - PST
Job Summary:
As a Social Media Platform Manager, you will organize and execute all technical launch moments for our owned and operated social platforms, ensuring smooth launch events and pointed communication for all critical launches and initiatives. You will develop high-level strategy, communications planning, creative concepting, and execution in collaboration with Services and Advertising teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for publishing our social presence: ensuring the highest-quality and timely launches.
- Provide organization of marketing content and publishing cadence for various products across organic platforms.
- Assist in monitoring the licensing and rights clearances to adjust channels as needed.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure all teams are informed on planned launches and postings across all projects, providing a cohesive social presence for the brand.
- Stay up to date with new social media tools, best practices, competitive activity, and other social media leaders to bring early adopter technologies and trends.
- Proactively monitor and identify trending risk areas and make recommendations to mitigate risk.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of marketing best practices and activations across social media
- Experience in trafficking or publishing leading-edge digital marketing initiatives.
- Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills; balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and requests should be second nature to you.
- Experience working and collaborating with third-party platforms and understanding platform updates and best practices.
- Inventive and enthusiastic problem solver, at ease with working in a dynamic, highly matrixed organization.
- You always see room for improvement in the systems and processes around you.
- Human-oriented with an appreciation for collaboration and dedication to cross-functional marketing initiatives that require strategic and thoughtful solutions.
- Familiar with third-party link-building tools and publishing software (Sprnklr, GeniusLinks, Bitly, Figaro, Hydra, etc.)
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
