Senior Mining Engineer - Mining Software Company

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Mine Engineer to join their team as a Technical Product Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of cutting-edge mining software products. You will work closely with a team of developers, engineers, and product owners to ensure that the product vision is aligned with the needs of the market and the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on market feedback and customer needs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver high-quality software products on time and within budget.
• Lead the product development process from ideation to launch, including defining user stories, creating wireframes, and working with UX designers to ensure the best possible user experience.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the mining industry, and use this information to inform product strategy.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches.
• Work with technical support teams to ensure that customer issues are addressed promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience in underground design and scheduling, mine planning, and related software tools.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in product management, with a track record of successful product launches.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
