OVERVIEW:
Our client is a growing family-owned business with a thriving retail presence within the Yorkshire region and also a busy eCommerce operation and Outdoor Events teams who trade nationwide.
They are looking for experienced warehouse operatives to join the team and work in their busy warehouse with their strong workforce of permanent employees. They are looking for dedicated, hardworking individuals who know how to work in a fast paced warehouse environment and work to KPI’s.
The management/owners of the business are very active and can be seen daily working on the shop floor ensuring high standards and quality is maintained. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company that’s been trading for many years and it also brings the possibility to be taken on permanently in the future after a 12 week period where you will see enhanced pay to £10 p/h
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will have a proven work experience as a warehouse operative and should be able to demonstrate working in a fast paced environment. You will be expected to use handheld scanners, pick at speed with accuracy and input data into a computer when orders are finished.
Duties:-
- Picking orders for our retails stores and/or Outdoor Events Team
- Packing Orders for our busy eCommerce operation
- Locating stock in our racks
- Pricing Stock
- Assisting with the loading and offloading of vehicles
- Maintaining standards by keeping the warehouse in a clean and tidy condition
