Are you looking to join a dynamic and fast-paced team? We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Administrative Officer to become an integral part of the admin team at Bournemouth Combined Court.

Position Details:

  • Role: Administrative Officer (Full-Time)
  • Hours: 26 hours per week (09:00-17:00)
  • Duration: Temporary assignment until 31/05/25, with potential for extension based on performance
  • Pay Rate: £11.88 per hour
  • Location: Bournemouth County Court - BH7 7DS
  • Start Date: asap, vetting pending

Key Responsibilities:

  • File Preparation: Prepare electronic files for court, tribunals, hearings, and meetings.
  • Document Production: Produce essential court documents.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle general photocopying, filing, post opening, and dispatch.
  • Data Management: Create and update records in our in-house computer system and perform data input.
  • Customer Interaction: Deal with various telephone enquiries and maintain regular contact with court users, including members of the Judiciary and the legal profession.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
