In this position, you will be developing applications in accordance with industry best practises. Collaborate closely with an Architect, Product Owner, and fellow Developers to contribute to our client's mission.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Proficient in Java: Your strong Java skills are essential for developing robust applications.
Strong UI Experience: Experience with Angular or JavaScript to create intuitive user interfaces.
API and Microservices Development: Expertise in building APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines using tools like uDeploy, Jenkins, or similar.
Container-Based Deployment: Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus!
Agile Methodologies: Experience with Scrum or Kanban delivery, focusing on software design, development, and automation.
Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS, or a desire to learn more.
Event-Driven Architecture: Knowledge of Kafka, Webhooks, or similar technologies is a bonus!
Test Driven Development: Proficiency in tools like JUnit, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, Jest, etc.
NoSQL Familiarity: Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB is a plus.
Qualifications:
5+ Years Experience: Proven hands-on experience as a software engineer.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
