Based in western Sydney, a local council is seeking an experienced Open Space Planner to assist on a range of exciting public open space projects.
The Role
As Open Space Planner you would be involved in the preparation of plans of management for community and Crown Lands. You would be tasked with the preparation of open space strategic documents such as an Urban Forest Strategy.
In this role, you will work with a team of professionals that are passionate about providing creative and innovative solutions for there community. You will work with key stakeholders in developing strategies and policies aimed at maximising the best possible community and business usage of open spaces in the local government area.
The Person
To be successful in this position you will hold a degree in Landscape Architecture/Town Planning or equivalent and have demonstrated experience in the preparation of plans for Crown and community lands.
