About the Workplace Engineer Role:
In this role, you are responsible for supporting all technical aspects of the Workplace. You will also modernise the organisation's IT infrastructure to ensure that every component of its life cycle is well managed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, configure and install Unified Endpoint Solutions and Virtual Desktop infrastructure. Provide BAU support with troubleshooting, upgrades, and general maintenance
• Assist with mobile devices, e.g., iOS, Android, Mac OS, and Windows 10; desktop and server troubleshooting
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new or upgraded hardware/software to ensure proper operations and performance for the Workspace platform. Work with vendors for product enhancements
• Utilise basic network skills to help in solving UEM and VDI issues
• Identify, access, and use resources for troubleshooting and training

To succeed in this IT Workspace Engineer job, you must have five years of IT experience, preferably in a financial institution or technology setup.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with VMware Workspace ONE suite of products, vCenter, ESXi and Horizon
• Knowledgeable in software installation procedures. Must be internet savvy
• Knowledgeable in MS Windows and Apple macOS with relevant experience in supporting desktop and enterprise server environments
• Five or more years of work experience in IT, with experience in desktop and mobile device management, security and compliance, user authentication, single-sign-on and virtualisation, etc.
• Good working knowledge in scripting such as Microsoft PowerShell, Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016 and 2019, General Mac OS experience and working knowledge and MS Exchange 2013, 2016
