About the Active Directory/Wintel Engineer (L3) Role:
In this role, you are responsible for L3 support for domain technology issues that cannot be resolved by L1 and L2 support teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create designs for Active Directory and Windows File Services for global initiatives. Work with project and support teams to ensure their successful implementation
- Perform root cause analysis and problem management for the IAM/PAM environment
- Manage L3 support for domain technology issues that cannot be resolved by lower-level support teams
- Perform daily monitoring of systems and hardware to ensure their integrity, availability, install and maintain AD and other software utilities
- Create and maintain system documentation and look for ways to improve processes and provide training as needed
- Perform patching and updates for Virtualisation. Plan and forecast capacity for Virtualisation Farm
- Work with vendors and partners to ensure hardware and software are delivered/configure according to specification
Key Requirements:
- Five or more years' experience supporting Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS), Certificate Authorities (CA), and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name Systems (DNS), Distributed File Systems (DFS), and Windows Server Operating Systems - 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019
- Experienced in Microsoft System Center Operation Manager (SCOM)
- Extensive experience with infrastructure and server theories, principles and concepts; application infrastructure and standards; networking fundamentals; Windows; Physical Server architecture; Virtualisation Technologies (e.g. VMware, HyperV) and LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies
- Able to develop, document, and enforce the standards, security procedures, and controls for access to ensure integrity of the Windows Systems, Active Directory, and related systems
- Experienced in Windows Server OS maintenance, virtualisation knowledge, work on virtualisation machines performance, troubleshooting, understand storage and backup concepts
