We are recruiting for a Hygiene Operative to join a major food manufacturing operation in the Pontypool area. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market-leading business with an outstanding reputation, supplying products to some of the UK's best-known retailers.

As part of the hygiene team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the exceptionally high standards that help ensure quality products are produced safely and efficiently every day. This is an important position within a modern, fast-paced production environment where attention to detail and teamwork are highly valued.

Shift Details

• 4 on 4 off shift pattern

• 05:00 to 17:00

• £13.05 per hour

• Temp to perm opportunity

• Ongoing, full-time work

Duties Include

• Cleaning and sanitising production machinery and equipment

• Maintaining excellent hygiene standards throughout production areas

• Operating industrial cleaning equipment, including jet washers and foam cleaning systems

• Following cleaning schedules and site procedures

• Using cleaning products safely and effectively

• Completing hygiene records and documentation accurately

• Identifying and reporting maintenance, quality or safety concerns

• Contributing to a clean, safe and efficient production environment

What We're Looking For

• Experience within hygiene, cleaning, manufacturing or food production is advantageous

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards

• Reliable, dependable and committed to quality work

• Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment

• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
