About the Senior NPI Engineer Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for managing New Product Introduction (NPI) projects which involve process design, reverse engineering, product transfer, validation and verification activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage NPI projects based on client’s requests
• Evaluate and manage customer change requests, and converting the request into new internal specification
• Develop and improve specifications of new product according to customer requirements
• Finalise the specification of new products, including changes and raw materials necessary
• Design, establish, validate, and execute new manufacturing process (either automated, semi-automated or manual),
• Design tools, die, jig, and fixture for manufacturing process
• Prepare the bill of material for products
• Assist in process cycle time calculation and line balance for new manufacturing lines
• Modify or establish new test methods for raw material and product inspection
• Prepare required documentations and process work procedures for manufacturing of new products
• Support technical challenges during daily operation
• Support validation and process improvement activities of production
• Provide training to production staff for new process implementation

To succeed in this Senior NPI Engineer role, you should have prior NPI experience within the pharmaceutical or medical devices manufacturing industries.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field of study
• Minimum of three years’ working experience in the medical device manufacturing industry
• Good knowledge in project management, process and product development
• Familiarity with CAD drawing or Solidworks
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and GMP
• Independent, analytical, and critical thinking in problem solving approaches
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and possess the foresight to plan ahead
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong stakeholder management capability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties
