7.5T Drivers (C1) – Newburn – £15.00 per hour

The Best Connection is recruiting 7.5T (Category C1) Drivers to work with a well-established client in the removals and storage sector, based in the Newburn area.

This is initially a relief cover assignment, with plenty of other driving work available afterwards, offering the potential for ongoing employment.

The Role:

• Delivering and collecting furniture and personal belongings.
• Working as part of a 3-person removal team.
• Loading and unloading using ramps and tail lifts.
• Multi-drop deliveries to residential and commercial properties.
• Providing a professional and friendly customer service.

Hours & Pay:

• Day shifts with 08:00 starts.
• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift.
• £15.00 per hour basic rate.
• £22.50 per hour overtime after 8 hours daily.

Requirements:

• Valid UK 7.5T (Category C1) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Newly qualified drivers welcome.
• Physically fit for manual handling and furniture removals.
• Reliable, flexible and customer-focused.
• Professional appearance and good communication skills.
