Relationship Manager - Financial Institutions (FIG) (265575/001) City of London, England
We are looking for preferably 5 - 8 years relevant experience.
Knowledge of loan products would be a plus, but this role involves various tasks and projects therefore, there will be more to learn.
Lots of scope in this role within this team working with a wide range of loan products and more.
Overview:

To help develop and implement a strategic & tactical plan based on knowledge of FI’s industry and the bank’s strategic target.

Enhance relationships with existing and prospective clients to develop new business to meet revenue targets.

Originate FI’s businesses especially syndicated loan products and deliver execution process with relevant departments.

To co-ordinate and ensure information needed for credit application, assessment, approval, and monitoring is readily accessible.

Drive the account planning process, including completing and maintaining relationship plans, files notes and call reports.

To act as the co-ordinator of FI’s relationships within the Bank to promote business in other product lines for product cross-selling purpose such as DCM, trade finance, correspondent banking, treasury business etc. as well as leading RFP process when Bank is to appoint FI as service provider.

Help to promote product and capacity of Head Office and other group member product and capacities.

Help raise profile in the local and EMEA market.

This role holder might also manage accounts in NBFI business and need to undertake other tasks as directed by the Department Head and Deputy General Manager.
Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of the banking industry, helping to grow the FI portfolio in UK/EMEA, in line with the bank’s risk appetite

Strong business and credit analysis skills.

Solid EMEA network and contacts within the Financial Institutions sphere.

The ability to adapt to required strategies and support the delivery of the business objectives.

Teamwork spirit to engage product partners for marketing efforts and deal execution and with compliance staff to ensure that the necessary regulatory guidelines are followed.
