Business Development Manager

Are you a Recruitment Consultant specialising in Health and Social Care, or a Business Development Manager in Adult Social Care? Do you have extensive experience in tendering, commissioning, developing contacts and business developing for care supplier business? Do you want to work for a highly regarded specialist company?

As a Business Development Manager you will develop new services and schemes across the UK and lead these projects to bring new business to the company and deliver on performance and growth targets.

You will also assist in the development of new services, updates in the local and national markets and developing business strategies to increase market share of the company.

We understand this role will require travel so the successful candidate MUST have a driving licence in order to travel as and when needed.

The Business Development Manager must have:-

• Extensive experience in the Health and Social Care sector
• Strong knowledge and experience in working with commissioners, tendering for business and developing new services
• Proven track record in winning new business and contracts
• Prior experience in a business or commercially focused role in social care
• Driving License and own vehicle
• Excellent negotiating skills
• Good networking and well connected within the sector
• Excellent skills in tender writing, preparation and management.
