Internal Communications Manager - JP Morgan - London - 12 months contract - Onsite - PAYE
We are seeking a creative and energetic Internal Communications Manager to join JP Morgan on an initial 12 months contract in London where you'll help shape and deliver communications programs for its leading Global Markets Business within the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB). For this role we are seeking candidates with extensive Internal Communications experience working within large investment banks or other large Financial services organisations.

We’re searching for someone who’s eager to make an impact and passionate about storytelling. As part of J.P. Morgan’s Global Markets Communications team, you’ll join a nimble group that drives employee engagement through thoughtful, well-rounded communications strategies. You’ll be a trusted partner to the Head of Global Markets and his Management team, helping them communicate with clarity and purpose.
You’ll lead a range of communications initiatives for Global Markets. Your work will include drafting executive messages and talking points, writing engaging content for the intranet, managing internal events such a town halls, leadership and off-site meetings, proofreading and editing. This role will cover a 12-month maternity contract and will be based in London.
Success in this position means being an independent and proactive storyteller and a skilled project manager, who is able to multitask and prioritise. Being a trusted partner to the Head of Global Markets and his team is key, being able to advise and bring the team’s vision to life by leading on communications plans that support our goals. Strong writing and verbal skills are essential, along with a sharp eye for detail. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you’ll have the chance to work on CIB-wide initiatives and partner with global teams across Communications, as well as colleagues in Media Relations and Marketing. Experience supporting a global trading business is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end communications projects while developing and delivering a cohesive, business-wide communications strategy
• Deepen understanding of the function and organisation to enhance collaboration and grow the scope of responsibilities
• Create and distribute communications content, including emails, talking points, briefs, intranet articles, and blogs
• Oversee the planning and delivery of town halls and business update calls for senior executives
• Partner with global communications, media, and marketing teams to support senior executives and deliver integrated cross-discipline programs
Key skills and experience
• Extensive experience in internal communications, driving engagement and messaging across organizations
• Experience working in investment banking or large financial services organizations
• Proven ability in developing and executing communications strategies and creating content across multiple channels
• Track record of success in media relations and marketing
• Skilled at partnering across all levels, with high independence, integrity, energy, and a commitment to learning and contributing
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize high-volume initiatives, coupled with accountability and respect for diverse opinions and working styles
