The Opportunity
 
We're working with a growing and well-established Water Hygiene business that's looking to bring an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer into their Midlands-based team.
 
This is a hands-on, field-based role covering a mix of public and private sector sites. If you're confident with Legionella control, comfortable working independently, and want a role where no two days look the same, this one's for you.
 
You'll be trusted to get on with the job, supported by a solid operational team, and given genuine scope to develop your career as the business continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities
 
As a Water Hygiene Engineer, your day-to-day duties will include:

  • CWST cleaning and disinfection
  • Calorifier inspections and blowdowns
  • Temperature monitoring
  • Water sampling
  • TMV servicing
  • Cleaning and disinfection of showerheads and pot washes
  • Expansion vessel flushing
  • Completing accurate compliance paperwork and reports

You'll be working across a variety of sites, maintaining high standards and ensuring full compliance with Legionella control regulations.
 
What We're Looking For:
 
We're looking for someone who knows their way around water hygiene and takes pride in doing things properly.
 
Essential experience and skills:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Water Hygiene role
  • Strong working knowledge of HSG274 Parts 1 & 2
  • Legionella training (BOHS, City & Guilds, or WMSoc)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience using Collabit or similar systems
