Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Midlands (Regional Role)
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + Overtime
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
The Opportunity
We're working with a growing and well-established Water Hygiene business that's looking to bring an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer into their Midlands-based team.
This is a hands-on, field-based role covering a mix of public and private sector sites. If you're confident with Legionella control, comfortable working independently, and want a role where no two days look the same, this one's for you.

Key Responsibilities
As a Water Hygiene Engineer, your day-to-day duties will include:
- CWST cleaning and disinfection
- Calorifier inspections and blowdowns
- Temperature monitoring
- Water sampling
- TMV servicing
- Cleaning and disinfection of showerheads and pot washes
- Expansion vessel flushing
- Completing accurate compliance paperwork and reports
You'll be working across a variety of sites, maintaining high standards and ensuring full compliance with Legionella control regulations.
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone who knows their way around water hygiene and takes pride in doing things properly.
Essential experience and skills:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Water Hygiene role
- Strong working knowledge of HSG274 Parts 1 & 2
- Legionella training (BOHS, City & Guilds, or WMSoc)
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience using Collabit or similar systems
