Marine Onshore/Offshore HSE Advisor (Contract)

We are currently supporting a leading main contractor on a major marine infrastructure project and are looking to engage an experienced Onshore/Offshore HSE Advisor on a contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile project with a strong pipeline of work, offering both onshore and offshore exposure.
 
The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across a complex marine scope of works. This includes both port-based activities and occasional offshore visits.
 
Project Scope

  • Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
  • Dredging operations
  • Rock infill works
  • Outfall head installation

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HSE support and guidance to site and offshore teams
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation and company policies
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Lead incident investigations and reporting
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all project phases
  • Liaise with stakeholders, contractors, and offshore personnel

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar HSE role within marine, civils, or offshore environments
  • Valid offshore certification/tickets (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of UK HSE regulations and best practices
  • Ability to work across both onshore and offshore settings
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
