Looking for a sales role where you're selling genuine value rather than just advertising space?
Our client is a long-established and highly respected publishing business with an excellent reputation for producing industry-leading print and digital publications. With continued growth and new contracts secured, they are looking to add an experienced Advertising Media Sales Manager to their successful commercial team.
This is a consultative B2B sales position where you'll work with businesses across a variety of sectors, helping them increase their visibility, strengthen their brand and reach targeted decision-makers through trusted publications that have been established for decades.
Rather than a high-pressure transactional sales environment, this role is focused on understanding a client's objectives and recommending advertising solutions that deliver long-term brand awareness, credibility and commercial impact.
The Role
You'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities while managing and growing relationships with existing advertisers. Every conversation is an opportunity to help a client showcase their products, services and expertise to a highly relevant audience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships with business owners and senior decision-makers
- Identifying client marketing objectives and recommending suitable advertising solutions
- Managing the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to campaign completion
- Developing repeat business through excellent account management and consultative selling
- Working towards achievable revenue targets within a supportive and experienced team

About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships and understands the value of consultative B2B sales.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous Advertising Sales experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- A proactive approach to business development
- The ability to build long-term client partnerships
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping businesses grow their brand
